These exquisite molded glass buttons are produced individually by Czech artisans using both new and vintage molds from the best of the old European craftsmanship. The buttons with gold are painted with 24K gold and the buttons with silver are painted with platinium.These finishes, as with all the special finshes (rich blues, rose copper and aurora borealis) are kiln cured for permanence & strength. The buttons have metal shanks (molded into the glass) and are color fast. They can safely be machine washed.
The uses for these beautiful glass button are endless. They make gorgeous jewelry closures for beaded bracelets and necklaces. Try them in your bead embroidery (make them the center of you piece) or include them in your "treasure necklaces" & embellishments (quilts, wall hanging pillows..etc). They make beautiful closures for amulet bags or "beaded" boxes & bottles. We also have the findings to convert them into pins. They make beautiful gifts.
*MG=Moon Glow: When molded opaque glass is toped or encased with clear glass. This creates a "glowing" effect.

**The butterfly button size 8 is too small to be used with the pendent or pin backs
Simply slip the pin back over the shank of the button & glue. E-6000 (glue) works very well. Beautiful gifts.
Make an necklace with on of these beautiful Czech Button as your center piece. Simply slip the pendant back over the shank of the button & glue. You can then string your beads thru the 2 holes provided on the back of the pendand back. Also you can then string (a fringe) thru the shank of the button.
NOTE: the pin backs and pendant backs listed above do not fit on the buttons which have an Item ID which begins with "wt." These nice buttons [below] have formed glass shanks.
