Charlottes (also called True Cuts) are some of the most sought after seed beads produced. Modern Charlottes are seed beads that have 1 to 3 facets ground into their surface. They produce a subtle sparkle which emanate from the opaque bead. They are exquisite beads.

Metal plated Charlotte in sizes 13/0 & 15/0: The metal is baked onto the glass and will not come off. Some are sold in 6"small hanks and some in 3" & 2 1/2" hanks, and some are now coming in un-strung.

NOTE: We have decided not to carry the size 15/0 metal plated charlottes any longer. The last supply of gold plated ones to arrive at the importers came with a 100% price increase. Sorry !

We have been hearing the Czech bead makers would stop producing the 15/0 charlottes. Sadly, this has come to pass. As our supply of a color is depleted we will be removing them from the web site.

@@@@ The beads numbered 8528, 8549, 8556, 8586, 8595, and 9115 below are new metallic looking color fast glass charlottes [CF.] We attempt to assure ourselves [and you] that beads presented to us as being color fast really are, so we have tested sample hanks of each color in clorox, acetone, and gasoline. The colors did not come off.
