We look for the tiny pearls  !

 We measure the diameter & the length of our pearls.  This is only an estimate because of the irregular nature of pearls.   Pearls are natural, not man made so every pearl may appear different in shape and size. That's the beauty of them! Just think of our pearls as small (smaller than ones you usually find). The images are much larger than the pearls themselves!!! **Suggestion:   We recommend a size 15 or 16 English Beading Needle  for pearls 3mm or smaller or try the 014 soft flex for stringing. Sometimes you will need to try and see what works best for your needs.  Remember some holes are larger than others.  See Beading Supplies.   Our  pearls have been "irradiated"(heat/light process) for color permanence

These shells are at least 30 years old. We found them in an old warehouse, still wrapped in newspaper dated 1976 ! The images are enlarged in order to better show the shape and colors of these nice little shells. They look great with pearls and vintage beads !
