Silamide Size A 900 Yard Spools
Silamide ( pre-waxed) is a strong nylon tayloring thread that is popular among beaders who do alot of sculpture work & need a tough thread for their bead pieces. Most beaders ( like the famous Joyce Scott) double their thread for real strength. Silamide Recomeended for beads sizes 11/0 and larger.
Silk Thread
Many beaders perfer the "natural quality "of silk thread. It has a tight twist & tends not to shred when working thru the beads. It knots well & has a minimum strtech to it. Bees wax is the preferred conditioner for silk.
Silk Size 50 sold in 100 meter spools
Recommended for bead sizes 14/0 & smaller (about the same as a nymo size 0). Also those tiny gem stones & pearls.
