Ammonites
These fossils are phenomenal ! Cut and polished to show off the lovely colors and intricate designs. They are side drilled and hang nicely as a bead or pendant. The dowel in the images shows the location of the hole. Size varies from about the size of a quarter, to about the size of a silver dollar. Thickness ranges from 5mm to 8mm. Some of them have cavities which are filled with tiny crystals. Just beautiful beads/pendants ! The small white spots you may see in some of the images is the light reflecting off the crystals. The cavities which appear to be slightly cloudy are actually crystal filled.

Size Comparison: A 2MM bead is about the size of a 12/0 bead & a 1.5MM bead is about the size of a 14/0 bead.
**Suggestion: We recommend a size 15 or 16 English Beading Needle for most of these tiny gem stones and pearls or try the 014 soft flex for stringing. There are some with bigger holes that a size 12 sharp or 13 needle would work. Remember, they don't have the large holes like the Japanese 14/0 seed beads.
